Real Madrid Closing In On Valencia Star David Silva

Primera Division outfit Valencia appear to be on the verge of losing yet another star player. Los Che sold David Villa to Barcelona on Wednesday and tricky midfielder David Silva could very well be the next star to leave the cash strapped side.

According to a report in Marca, Real Madrid have made signing the Spanish international their primary target of the summer transfer window and the Blancos are expected to make an offer for Silva in the upcoming days.

The 24-year-old is continually being linked with a move away from Valencia and English giants such as Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are all keeping tabs on the left footed midfielder.

Real Madrid are determined to sign the highly rated playmaker before any of the Premier League sides make a move and the transfer could be a done deal by the end of this week.

Valencia are being plagued by financial problems and president Manuel Llorente stated on Wednesday that he could not rule out any more departures after the loss of Villa.
